| Good Afternoon,
I wonder if anyone can offer any advice..
Im a Cas fan and are coming to the LSV on the 10th August for the semi final.
are there any pubs around the ground?
Around 16 of us are getting a bus over early and going to make a day of it.
Probably arrive in Leigh around 11am.
Will we be best off going into Leigh itself to the pubs there and walk to the ground.
Is it a walkable distance from the town?
Is there any pubs around the ground?
Any help would be really appreciated so I can get the bus booked and tell them where we are going?
Look forward to your help!
Thanks,
|

| Ground is approx 10 min walk from town. There is 1 pub next to the stadium. Leigh East club house is on the same site and Leigh Miners is just across the canal.

| Easy to walk to from the town centre and more than a few pubs on the way. Massive pub just outside the ground and our own "Legends" bar on the corner.
Hope you have a good day out and think you'll be supprised and impressed with our set up

| Ground is a 10min walk from town centre and if its real ale you're after, there's Weatherspoons, White Lion, Boars Head, George & Dragon and Spinning Jenny all on main drag in town. On way to ground just over canal bridge there's the Centurion and Brittania. At the ground there's Whistleing Wren and Leigh Easts clubhouse. Hope this helps and good luck on the day, enjoy.

| Start off in the Thomas Burke (spoons) and do the ale trail finishing at the Britannia then a 5 min walk to ground
You will have a choice of 20+ water stops along the way

| Well I hope to have a few drinks in Town with my Leigh friends. Possibly stay over night in a hotel and have a few beers. So is it 11000 full capacity because I feel people will miss out on tickets.

Three hotels in the area. One you can fall to as it's on the same plot as the stadium. The other two the Greyhound and Travel Lodge are short cab rides away. If everywhere is packed on match day the Park Inn - on site - is usually quick service and does food as well.
