Someone said you are not allowed to take cameras into Saints ground when matches are being played, is that right?

"Ban" on cameras is so that the club doesnt fall foul of any "images" deal with the likes of sky but also (if their are any junior games on) child protection laws.

My understanding is that Professional style cameras are not allowed at Saints. As some photographers and media have deals in place that are to be adhered to.



I'm pretty sure that there are no laws regarding general photography in public places, although I may be wrong.

I have never had any trouble taking the odd snap from the stand. However i am not going in the ground with a £500 slr with zoom lense. Just a fairly standard compact digital camera.



Also im not taking photos throughout the game.

There is female 'jobsworth' type steward with glasses and a miserable looking face who is new at the score board end right behind the sticks. She likes to pull people up and look wanted/useful who dare to take a quick snap even with your mobile phone.



If you are in a more densely packed part of the ground like the scaff or away end when it's busy, you are not going to have a problem I dare say.

Just take a camera in and snap away

There are no laws protecting you when out in public in Britain (hence the rise of the paps).



However, Saints is considered private property and therefore can impose what they like. The fact that what they are imposing is frankly ridiculous is neither here nor there.

We've got one of those jobsworths under the stand but its a male lol. Who gives a stuff if ya wanna take a quick snap with your mobile phone?? it's not doing anyone any harm is it AND..............if you are a fan you'll always buy pics from the shop too!!
