There was a bloke who played for Springfield Borough in about 1987/88 who only had one arm as well. Can't for the life of me remember his name though.

The less obvious drawback being that if he was on the bench you couldn't use him as a sub if you wanted to take the wrong-sided prop off.

Derek Bridgeman (ex Queens ARLFC) at Sheffield Eagles also played semi professional league with a deformed limb, he would tuck the ball under it and crash his way forward regardless.

I know it's not funny but I still had to think about Peter Smith and Brian McClennan's comment in tonight's YEP online. Firstly McClennan stealing a line from G1 on here and then this: [iMcClennan said: "We've had a couple of these this year and I'm sure players at other clubs have had them, when you've got two players holding a player up and that third man coming in around the legs.
