Many likely to be bothering with this trip? I was thinking more like closer to single figures than the 40-50 at Halifax/Keighley, especially with United's football game at Wembley.



Booked a B&B for the Saturday night quite near the ground for £30, up for the Workington v Worcester football then either speedway/pub after, tough choice...

Only issue is wasting the morning before the game, shame its not a 2pm kick off in a way. Time to kill after though, my train from Penrith back south isn't till gone 8pm.



Looking forward to it to be honest

Top effort mate. Lovely part of the world but the ground leaves a little to be desired. Saying that, it's pretty similar to Owlerton with the speedway track.



It will be my first miss of the season, on a stag do with a number of other Eagles fans who travel away so that will take a few off the numbers! I went to all three Cumbrian games last season, decent following at Barrow but not so at Workington and Whitehaven. Don't think you will be far off with single figures.

Don't think Whitehaven will be possible for me, as its actually impossible to get there on a Sunday for a 3pm kick off by public transport and get back from. Be a shame because it looks a cracking ground and its start of June too.
