Had a decent game against us on his debut aswell. I didnt see any of it coming after watching him play in the 9s for us. Funny old game.

A 9's competition isn't exactly the best platform to showcase SL credentials .

I would have thought that a pacy threequarter playing on a pitch with 4 less defenders on it, and the remaining 9 having an average age of about 17 would have been in his element. He was clearly not match fit but Rovers were not prepared to take a chance and give him a contract. Salford were and on this occasion it looks like they were right to.

The 9's game does not reflect how a SL game is played at all .



Of course a pacy winger may well stand out in such an abridged game , but it's at SL level where the player should be judged.
