I was at both days. There were about 800 there on the Saturday, Swinton and Oldham appeared to have the most fans there. On the Sunday numbers were probably about 200 or so.... People tended to leave as their teams were knocked out and the teams that made the finals didn't have many there (there was me and my lady from Thunder!!!). Road works and the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride made it difficult to get from the Fylde to Bloomfield Road (Thunder's semi finished at 13:25 and the final was at 15:00). We made it but I am sure that other people would have struggled...
All in all it was a good couple of days, mixing with the other fans and the weather helped, pity we couldn't beat Halifax but we only had 12 fit men and Worrincey cheated by being very fast!!!
Congrats on winning the NRC, didn't stay for ther match as we had a 2.5 hour drive home
