Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com

| Working Christmas eve night shift, finish at 7.45 so home to bed, climb out just as meal is finishing a couple glasses of wine with it. A quick round of present unwrapping then a granddad nap regardless of whats on tv.
Still miss the Christmas day fixture of my youth though

| Quote Legends and Icons="Legends and Icons"I'm a west stand (virtually)tee total haha
I love Christmas , Everton , f1 , hull fc and rugby( obviously ) , I love films and music
And you can't beat a good board game with friends even if one of them is a dobbin .
I only asked pal because you seem to be a glass half empty on most subjects on this forum'"
my comment wasn't aimed at you L&I.
I am not a glass half empty person about most things, but I am not a blindly optimistic person either, I see things as I see them and (usually) for what they are. Christmas in the UK is awful (not quite as bad as it in the US, granted) I have been somewhere in France for Christmas for the last 7 years and it is brilliant, those who believe go to Church, there's no mass hysteria, no great commercial engine driving unwarranted expectation for weeks (if not months) before, they don't have wall to repeats on TV (because few people are even in to watch TV), I get to see the roof of the world and slide down it's sides.
Most threads on here are not based in the real world, that is to be expected, it's a fans forum and fans, by their very definition, rarely see anything negative about the club they support.

Don't expect miracles next season but we won't be as bad as some suggest like you.As for Xmas..I will be relaxing after a busy work period from Aug to Dec and Xmas in Britain is what you make it,you prefer to stand on sticks and go down a mountain...me,I like to see the look on my kids faces...give me a choice of the 2 and the look wins hands down.

you need to buy a smile from your kids, that's quite sad baldy.
my niece smiles when I bother to take her to the seaside with a bucket and spade, not because of deliveries from the laminated book of dreams.
