I was just passing on a bit of Christmas greetings and the usual suspects come along and post something completly off topic.
I could not give a toss if your mail was missing 90% of missing mail is because the dipsticks sending the mail forget to put the correct address on, fail to put the right or any postage or fail to actually post it. Add to that that many firms and organisations have used the recent bad weather as an excuse for there own poor performance.
On the privatisation front, over 1,000 post office closed in the UK last year the last one in Hull was Welwyn Post office which closed ealier this month. Stamps are going up 6p for first class in April and thats only the start, say goodbye to Saturday deliveries and collections and a you will all be paying the real price of posting letters.
I am looking forward to my free shares in the new company, then I will take EVR when the Hull Mail centre closes down in 2015 and all local mail will be processed in Sheffield. Not that I will be using it as I will be miles away somewhere warmer, sunnier and a lot dryer as I can easily afford the villa now.
