If we have a 12 team championship in 2015 and two of those teams have been relegated from the SL that means that 4 teams are to be relegated from the championship at the end of this season assuming that no teams are promoted from Championship 1 or perhaps 5 down and one up to keep something to play for in Ch1.



Clearly we better play a site better then last season.

Also rumour has it that Toulouse are pushing for a spot in the 2nd tier again next year so it might even be 6 down and 1 up between championship and championship 1

They want a place in Superleague from 2015 which if they get it will result in three down from the SL

My understanding from a RFL Meeting I attended is the following:



Super League: SL14 1-12



Championship: SL14 13-14, Toulouse, Championship 1-9



Championship One to be two divisions of ten. One North and One South.

So how does PR work between the Championship and Ch1?

My understanding is the winners of Championship One North & Championship One South will play each other with the winning being promoted to replace the bottom placed side of the Championship.

That's, clear but lets assume that a team from Championship One South gets promoted and the bottom team in the Championship of course gets relegated. For the sake of argument let's say its Workington, do they now play in Championship One South for the next season or is there some process for moving the teams around?

Where will the other 7 teams come from to fill these leagues? Toulouse plus 6 others?
