Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com
Old Trafford station is on the Altrincham line. Don't board a Victoria tram, it's the opposite direction.
Buses from town to Old Trafford include 255, 256 and 263 and I imagine there may be some specials as well. Reckon on at least half an hour by bus with the traffic. There will also be a train service which stops right at the ground from Piccadilly, Oxford Road and Deansgate every half hour or so.
You can walk it as well, about 45 minutes from town down Chester Road, although there is no pavement for some of the journey along a dual carriageway so it's not a great option. Walking down the canal is better on the way there, but probably not much fun on the way back in the dark.
