I understand the percieved need for exposure. But we're sick of McNamara explaining away dire performance after dire performance. I'd much rather he followed your coaches lead and kept his head down when we don't do the business. A simple "that wasn't good enough" will do.
Bet you felt similar when he told the media the loss at home to the bottom of the table side was down to them following a plan, and that you were unlucky.
