Fairly predictable squad.



Not seen Toronto's squad yet. Is that mind games, or do they not have to publish theirs to the same deadline as everyone else?

They are probably waiting for another half dozen marquee signings to be announced that will be drafted straight into the squad.

Still no news on Toronto's squad for tomorrow. For instance, Beswick received a two match penalty notice last weekend. Does that mean he misses the 'Bash' or does his suspension start the following week. The RFL website has a news blackout on the 'Summer Bash', reporting that the squads "are to be announced shortly." (they do usually announce them, albeit after the game)



I'm a bit puzzled as to why Toronto don't appear to have to announced their squad - it's not even on their website. (their 8,000 fans must be disappointed about the lack of communication!) I wonder if, like Toulouse, they aren't actually members of the RFL, so can do as they please?

I think Beswick will be banned. His 'tackle' on six foot five Jon Ford of Toulouse was a really bad one! Ford landed on the back of his head and was extremely lucky not to be seriously hurt!

You'll recall Mickey Higham's tackle in the infamous Swinton Brawl of 2016? Mickey even stopped in mid-tackle however, he still received a three game ban! Eddie Hemmings said it was NICE that Bob apologised though so, that may be OK then
