Totally agree. The site is worse than ever.


Obviously David was m o m by a country mile. Dixon had his best game for Fax and Mr. Tibbs always threatened and made them work hard to stop him. 

The subs with the exception of Graham made little contribution and it is our lack of depth up front that is our weakness. Hopefully keep Douglas and strengthen the pack for next season.

I would like to try to keep Sambou. He looks a decent prospect. Whitby  wont be here , he is SL quality.


Woody tries hard in the halves but little comes off. Hansen as has been said doesn`t play what he sees so don`t take the line on enough
Graham much happier on the wing. 


All in all a grand day out apart from sitting in a tip.

Agree with the above a good performance allround against a poor Sheffield side, that said i would still take Gwaze off their hands. Nofoaluma is just a class above for me and we should be doing everything in our power to keep him for next year. I think CowFax makes a good point about the lack of impact off our bench especially when you have Douglas Calcott and Dixon all starting if we can find some impact when those 3 are off the pitch we will be a lot stronger side for it.

Should have said in my comments that quality of Fax performance has to be balanced against the abject efforts of Sheffield  - never liked the Eagles primarily because I can't stand Aston, but there's no way a team coached by Aston would have shown so little heart - watching back the highlights its embarrassing how easily breaks were made, although there was good skill shown to finish them off so clinically especially in the first half.

No s/l kids in forwards and 3 hookers and we're back to early season dominance.Just hope when we move on the likes of Davies,Mccomb,Fairbank etc at season end that we can find another couple of Brandon's to really get our pack motoring..

Good win against the worst Eagles side for a very long time.

Bob & Salty retiring, Woody off to France with Louis, Calcott maybe going to Australia for a gig with one of their second tier clubs and Nofa hoping to get a chance with a SL club are some of them but who knows?

On his form with Fax, i can definitely see Nofa getting a SL shot, especially with the increase in no of teams. He has been at a different level

Took a couple of games to settle in and then got better week on week.
