Cannot complain about the result - we were well beaten by a better team on the day.

We can however complain about the filthy state of the seating in the East Stand. We were sitting just left of the posts (as viewed from behind the sticks) and all of the seats around us were coated in a disgusting brown scum that was instantly transferred onto peoples clothing. The backs of the seats were equally as bad as the seats themselves.

What kind of welcome is that for the best visiting support Widnes are likely to see this season (with possible exception of Bradford).

Summer bash first before the return fixture.. Hopefully see you there...

Great away following and good to have this rivalry and fixture again. Looking forward to the Summer bash from my holidays in Crete, which I hope I will find on a TV. Be interesting how the season goes, as still some catching up for Widnes and now off the bottom due to points difference.

Well as I have said before, Widnes really are our bogey team, as they have now lost to York and a Dewsbury. How is it they can get up to comfortably beat us, yet lose at home to a side that had lost 7 out of 10 before today? Fortunately they are now 12 points behind us, but they can still hinder our top 5 chances if they beat us twice more this season.

Dewsbury were beating Toronto 17-4 earlier this season....but maybe they prefer plastic pitches to us !

Possibly the game before the Widnes fixture took its toll!
