Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. Great plans coming together to launch the heritage numbers - not only the heritage day on the 30th August - which will be fantastic - but other plans too!
We will launch the heritage numbers on Friday 15th August at our Heritage Dinner Launch at LSV. This is nearly a sellout - nearly 50 players will be in attendance with partners. We will have our 2 eldest surviving players in Tommy Sale & Dick Breare, players from 50's 60's 70's, 80's 90's and more recent!
Each player will receive a glass momento, depicting their date of debut and heritage number.
Of course, we would love to share this with all Leigh supporters. With this in mind, we will have a public launch on Wednesday 20th August (tbc) again in the Banqueting Suite - this will be a FREE event but tickets will be required. * tickets not been issued as yet, please bare with us!
It is also hoped that we will have a past players team to play Leigh Cricket Club in a 'friendly' 20-20 game on the Bank Holiday Monday after the Wembley final.
