Leigh seem to have spread their risk and Andy Mazey commented last week that Leigh would never again put the club in the hands of just one man. The Leigh example of what can be achieved in a short time gives me hope that all is not lost. Those running the club certainly need to increase the activity off the field or find someone else who can. First priority though must be to ensure financial safety.

It isnt about the structure of the administration at any club, its about what they do, putting cash in is great, depending on what the money is spent on decides where you go from there on, just paying good wages to good players will work short term, but isnt sustainable, running a sports business is a lot more complicated than that

The beginning of the end of the BOM in its "In it together" glory was revealed here. Actually it was apparent quite a lot earlier but this was when it was apparent. Played a shrewd game has DB it would seem.

Whatever happens, Andy Mazey's efforts to get a consortium together were immense and he's provided a professional face to the club and been a brilliant spokesperson. The fact that the remainder at the club hasn't been able to say so, and has instead resorted to petty changes to the program and negative publicity in twitter bodes ill for our future PR.

So what does Positivity Pete think of the fact that we won the league by 15 points, increased crowds massively, retained all our best players, are going full time next season and are just 80 minutes away from becoming the Champions?

FULLY AGREED NOZZY, searched 3 pages of 'Waterfields' posts, nothing positive whatsoever. When you think about what an incredible season that we have had....WF is either a Wig@n fan, or just a to0l.

Michael Norris runs a tight ship and he will make sure will do not spend what we don't have, anyway let the board deal with that .



We still have lot s of ex directors, chairmen even watching Leigh still, so lets but this to bed and get on with looking forward to hopefully becoming champions again on Sunday .
