Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. | I think this is a good post and if the board read this they should take note a lot of it makes good business sense. I think PR has done a fantstic job this season and hope ALL our supporters get behind him as he and the players deserve.
Sorry Matt cant agree with you about Sundays it was said at the last fans forum last season we averaged around 2300 per game and this season we are down to 1500 per game, dont see how you can say it was worth the risk losing so much revenue, fans and season ticket holders financial suicide in my humble opinion. Overdraft increased to £90K from £60K last season how is that an increase in corporate more like a £30k loss. Yep it is tremendous the progress from last season but what about the future?
How is the catering sorted? I know so many fans that dont even buy a pint let alone have something to eat unless you know something I don't? I get the point of the first poster on this one and agree with them about needing to get the budget right and attract new revenue streams. I would also add the club is so reliant on LISA that its so important to keep up the current membership and increase it year on year. A balance of revenue streams is so important, agree we don't want another senario like when AT pulled out but on current revenue streams its going to be difficult to move the club forward. Why do you say directors throwing money down a black hole?

| Quote sex on legs="sex on legs"This was always going to be a survive at any cost year, cut costs and do a better deal with LSV. We have some positives to build on and negatives to learn from.
Positives.
1. We are still here
2. We have finished second with a CC run
3. Hopkins, Nicho and Pownall stepping up.
4. We have a far better deal with LSV - I trust it will stay until we reach SL
5. Next years squad looks to be shaping nicely
6. Junior Centurions back
Negatives.
1. No idea still how to 'sell' the club or communicate past the inner circle - =#FF0000Surely Comms have improved? i.e. (Radio station; two websites in parallel; (LC & LeighLife) better coverage in local paper.) Nevertheless, there is always room for more improvement.
2. Stupid fixture days/times. =#FF0000Some of those days are as a result of other factors - Thursday TV coverage; (an awful day to have a match imo) Pitch maintenance for five weeks; sharing a stadium with another Championship team. The current questionnaire is addressing fans' choices - it'll be interesting to see what the split of days is.
3. Dwindling support - =#FF0000A huge problem that we must try to solve - and then bottle the solution and sell it to others!
4. Stupid ST policies - =#FF0000Hopefully S/T ranges/prices will be simplified for this coming season, and announced soon
The positives are bigger than the negatives, but we need a financially committed leader to build on the cost based foundations in place, finding one will be difficult but I would imagine easier than last year.'"
Please don't think I'm trying to knock your 'negatives'. You are not alone in voicing many of them. I am just trying to shed a little light on some of them.

IMO we have a lot to learn here to get folk talking about Leigh RL again

| IMO our attendances have suffered due to the number of north west teams in the league, there are 8/10 Yorkshire teams in the league and only Halifax and Swindon bring a decent following to the LSV

| Same number of NW teams last year, one less Cumbrian.
Fev and Batley brought a few also, confident it would have been a lot more for Fev, Fax and Batley on a Sunday, great following from Wiltshire though.

Don't think we are arguing opposites here - although I wouldn't want to 'buy' Sheffield's plan for increasing attendances. Theirs went down too, and are only averaging 1178 for Championship games.
