Mcguire did cheat and was punished in the correct manner by a penalty being given (if indeed that is what the penalty was given for, I don't think it was clear on the night).
To suggest he cheated anymore than any other player who has pulled back an opponent in open play is crazy and even worse to suggest that the sporting gods are punishing him for it
