Part of the reason I love this sport.



When I got back to Reading, I was still in my Quins and met up with some Wendyballer mates for a pint.



They were shocked that in the few hours we were there, we saw 10 Wire shirts, 2 Hudds & 1 Wigan and just all chatted as if we were mates. The Man U & Arsenal fans that were remonstrating with each other made my point for me.

My husband and I travelled down on a coach from Huddersfield to Wembley and sat at the "Huddersfield" end. We then spent the night in a hotel with all the folk from the coach and then the next day in London and then the trip back up to Huddersfield. "So what" you may think..................we are Warrington supporters and wore our shirts with pride. Not once were we abused in any way, we had a wee bit of banter. We didn't gloat either, we remember how it felt in 1990!

We chatted with some great folk who were sat near us in the stadium, a pleasure to enjoy the game with. Yes, RL fans are just the best.

We was speaking to police at Wembley last year, and they said exactly the same thing. They find it's easy money for them when its Rugby as there is not much trouble, however he said, football can be a nightmare.
