Even without final appearances this would still smack of a remarkably well run club...when professional sports clubs in all sports are losing money hand over fist.

"Fall back on"? I may have inferred something not intended but I don't think it's any coincidence that such a well run club reaches said finals with such consistent regularity. The modus operandi that leads to these results IMO also leads to those finals.

i still remember a few years back having a post match drink in the rhinos 2000 bar under the north stand when some numpty was kicked out for chanting hetherington out in quite colourful language ! i wonder what he thinks now ? well done gh
