Played against Carlisle in a cup game at Wheldon Road. Scored and kicked some goals if I remember correctly. Don't remember him playing 5 games though. We let him go to Donny I THINK. |

I remember him scoring an hat trick against us playing for Doncaster, he played full back that day at Tattersfield, i think it was just before he got done for drugs.

oh dear never make a bet
I spoke to my brother (who has been involved in the RL media and worked on 2 books to do with Cas and just happens to be friends with Jamie)
and he says Jamie played 1 first team game when he came on as a sub against Carlisle and he played on the wing
however he did play in several a team games in both centre and wing position but official records are not usually kept of those |

As much as I begrudge it, I suppose I will have to say bye-bye to my fiver, and hope to get it back on another bet someday.
Do Cas still have an official historian ? I know years back (1986), Len Garbett brought out a fantastic book which detailed every game, score, try scorers, players records etc. I think it would be a good idea to release an updated book for us fact geeks, the castigers.net site is great but it has a heck of a lot of missing info.
