You are probably referring to things like this, from Halifax's recent SL application:
Quote The club business plan was inadequate, figures presented by the club as the budget and performance forecasts for the 2012-14 Licence period were speculative and the club did not provide sufficient information for KPMG to complete their assessment ">procedures.'"
The reason no such criticisms of incumbent clubs have been made is that they haven't submitted speculative plans, ever, as Peter Hood, former chair of Bradford appeared to confirm recently when he said:
Quote There is a cashflow model that shows that, if nothing happened to generate new monies, based on a full salary cap spend and other substantial football costs, then the result would be a loss of more than £1 ">million.'"

That nice mr wood is like a politician though starbug he says one thing and does the totally opposite icon_lol.gif" alt="icon_lol.gif" title="Laughing" /> But to be honest i hope your right starbug i hope one of us 3 do get in and to be honest i dont care which 1 of us it is because if 1 of us gets in it will change the whole no entry situation hopefully.But if 1 of us replace bradford im sure it will only be for 2 years as im sure bradford will be fast tracked to get back in at 1 of us 3s expense. |

I just wish that the RFL would be honest about it and state categorically that SL is closed to new applicants. At that point the Championship clubs may at last get together and plan for the future.
All this "Destination Superleague" etc. from all our clubs is embarrassing as it simply will not happen.
The Bradford debacle has now proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that it is impossible to be ejected from SL and, ergo, for a place to become vacant.
