Injuries will know doubt happen and this would give us some cover.

Against other teams who do not have as much muscle one of the big guys can be rested and the 13 spot can be taken by a ball handling loose forward like Bob Beswick (if he signs)or a running loose forward like Shad played when Miles was at fullback.

Leigh will need to settle Dez can't use any more brown envelopes, Sheffield are never in a hurry to recruit and always take their time so they remain the "wild card". Toulouse are gone so there's no more speculation of them filling up a team of Aussies to bid for a licence leaving the 2 promoted teams, York and Hunslet and maybe even Dews - all of whom will have a team to claim a scalp or two but will probably not have the consistency to mount a longer challenge.'"
