Always seems to be a lot of dirt comes out on players when they leave us. Strange really as it also happened with Arundel(bad attitude), Worthington(lazy), Tyrer & Murrell(too much influence), QLT(not a team player) just to name a few who as veteran players all suddenly developed bad habits meaning they no longer fit in with us. Tyrer in particular was a brutal stamp of authority on somebody seen to have too much influence in the dressing room ripping away his chance to become the clubs all time leading points scorer.

As for your BOD , I know how hard they are trying to resolve the problems , it’s never easy , maybe Grix should walk , but I don’t blame him for staying , why lose money and put himself out of work .Have Zfaith .

Hey Ian,theres too many clowns on here backing Grix already... :D

Lol! That's a fair point re the scoreboard mate. Last Sunday was terrible, one of my worst days in over 60 years supporting Fax!

I’m not backing Grix , just saying I don’t think he will walk , it’s a thankless job.
Your BOD are doing everything to be successful , the signings they have made are decent players , just not gelling together , I’m coming over soon to attend a game , hopefully bring some luck .
I’m predicting a Fax win by 12 on Sunday , but it’s gonna be hard to stay in the top 6

Have you ever recruited people that on paper seem to be right for the job but then it doesn't work out, I'll admit I have. As for Springer, my understanding was it was also down his reluctance to put the effort in or to try and improve as well - and was on a decent contract when his lower paid team mates were prepared to work harder. Fev might be better placed to carry him with their squad depth.
Always two sides to a story and never beleive the spin.King came here as Whitehaven's star man to further his career,to be told he wasn't good enough and sat in the stands..wouldn't we all want to leave in that scenario.Doro was dropped and castigated long before any perceived issue.Springer offered more in ten minutes spells than other forwards who are busy for 80 mins but produce nothing.
Looking at current players..Tangata now a liability-Larroyer not far behind.Moore-annoys me that he's on the field.Fairbank-where's the offload game ? I could go on..suffice to say it's all stale and not working and needs a complete refresh.

Pete it’s never easy following a team like Fax , I’ve have years of watching Leigh , I know your BOD work hard to get things right , keep the faith .

Again almost examples of trying to punish players before even giving them a fair chance with King and Doro. Maybe that suggests that Grix didn't have much to do with their signings as it seems strange to sign players and then come out in public and put them down, surely it would make sense to build them up but its never happened with those two along with others.

If we had beaten Batley most of these posts wouldn’t have been written

You'd be happy working alongside team members who didn't work as hard then whilst getting paid more? Jouffret and Walmsley had a transitional issue when they came from haven but were prepared to knuckle down and work on the areas they need to.

As for Tyrer and Murrell, both at end of their careers, we'd seen the best of them, most on here always complained about Murrell particularly in his latter years with us. Worthington went for more money. Arundel, didn't pull up any trees but i thought he did an ok job and defensively we were stronger with both of them. But again and if is true re his attitude (and I don't know) the impact on the team has to be considered.

But like you say there are 2 sides to every story, doesn't mean we have to go with yours

If we are bringing players in without the Coach's approval it's no wonder we're struggling.A coach working in conjuction with his scouting system identifies targets required to enhance the team and then approaches the footballing director to provide the necessary backing and finance-it surely can't work another way...?
