Your right in what you say however with hindsight you could have held off buying any tickets (and saved yourself the agony of the Bradford game) and purchased as many tickets as you'd like all sat together when they went on general release.
The problem was that with all the soothsayers forecasting a sell-out within hours you do understandly feel that you cannot risk leaving it until they go on general release just in case for once, depite all precedence suggesting otherwise, the game did sell out prior to general release of tickets.
Either way to sell out a couple of days prior to the game when tickets have been available for as number of weeks would suggest that the stadium capacity is just about right. There are not two better words to a marketing department then "sold-out" on a venues doors.
Did the club let you in on their plans for ticketing should be get to Wembley? An interesting departure from the norm, I wonder how it will work for those qualifying through season tickets etc before going on general release.
