We kicked 1 all last season. Ive never realised why we dont go for this more often, i think its a great play and can win you games with field position.

If memory serves, Andy Farrell was one of the first British players to kick one. I may be wrong here, but I seem to recall it was in a Friday night match against Hull, our first home game that year. He kicked it at the end of our first set of six - and I remember thinking 'this new rule is going to be meat and drink to Faz'. And then he didn't kick another one until some time the next season.
Or maybe my memory's playing drinks. Have drunk a lot of beer since then.
its a lil harder to hit a 40/20 at the jjb, its a whole lot bigger than the other grounds, and i suppose when you play away you dont feel as confident, but that said have lulu smith or even tomkins got a kick big enough to reach with the distance
