A couple of rumours being bandied about in the Sydney Morning Herald and the Roosters fans forum, it says that the Roosters are interested in taking Luke O'Donnell of Hudds to the Roosters this season.
When Paul Anderson was asked about this Paul said its the first he had heard of this and has far has he was concerned Luke is an Hudds player. When Luke was asked if he had asked Hudds for a release he said I am an Hudds player but what happens ,happens.
The Herald goes on to say that the Roosters are clearing the decks with a few players moving out with one being mentioned to move to the UK ,that being Tom Symonds a 24 years old second row come loose forward.
One of the other players being talked about as maybe surplus to requirements is 25 year old prop Anthony Cherrington who is said to be 6-4 and 18st,he was very highly rated until missing most of 2010 and 2011 injured
The Roosters forum seem to be very keen to hold on to him ,saying that in the past he showed to much potential to let him go now.

I think the club have given him a kick up the backside. In my view, Sam has not made the impact on and off the field that everyone thought. I think he still has time to turn it around but there is no doubt that he needs to do it quick. When I have seen him at club functions he seems a tad aloof.

Sam was at our table at this season's gala (my mate is his sponsor),he was very talkative and a perfect gentleman throughout the night not just with his sponsor but with everyone on the table.

Don’t get me wrong Jason he is a cracking lad but something doesn’t seem right. I think the club need to start seeing improvement otherwise he will be gone given the competition is so fierce.
