Well at least it gives you lot something to talk about this weekend with no first team action and all.

And there in a sentence is the whole season for team Hull FC. Beating our reserves. Big hand people, come on.

What were the teams?

Can I surmise(sp) by that that FC put in as many first teamers as they could...........................And still only won by 2 points?

I think it was our vets Terry Devonshire, Terry Day, Mick Crane, Charlie Birdsall and the ever present Tony Duke.

Is there any limit to the number of first teamers allowed ?



And if Hull had still been in the CC would the likes of Hall, King, Moa and Maloney have played





How did our promoted academy players fare ?

Rovers did very well against a strong experinced Hull side.



Hull controlled the game and should have won by more, Rovers took there chances.



For Rovers The players that stood out was Spaven, The Fullback (Not sure his name but had a Scrum hat on), and taylor.



You stand off (Ianson?) also had a hugh kicking game, an that's what got you the points in the first half and kept Hull at bay.



Rovers looked a good side.

Hull had Sam moa, Paul King, Dominic Maloney, Craig Hall and Josh Hodgson playing, We had Charlie and Esders. Was a good game to be honest though i thaught Liam Watts and Frankie Marianos call ups to the 1st team hampered us abit

No we only had I player with first team activity... as opposed to 5

Good game, rovers lost a couple of players early in the 2nd half and the loss of interchange looked to take it's toll. Thought hull's winger looked quite good, very quick.



All in all good performance by kr considering the difference in experience levels.
