Batley are back! had a good result last week as well, they have some dam good players in there team and seem to have hit a bit of form.

Fair play to Batley. We have to do much better. Simple as.



It's a hot day and there is the slope to contend with but it's the same for both teams.

If you care to read my post again, it was meant as a dig at my own team and it clearly states that he weather and slope is the same for both teams and I also congratulate Batley.

What is going on at Widnes, you must have spent 4 times as much money as teams like Batley & Doncaster yet you can only just beat Doncaster and get turned over at Batley.



Who has signed all your players? What kind of coaching are they getting as they seem to be going backwards!



I thought they played some good rugby when John Stank was in temp charge & he got Doncaster playing some good rugby in his short stint there. I wonder if your owner got star struck when signing your coach and director of rugby?



I really thought you would do well this year and play some entertaining stuff.

OK now you lot have reason to complain. No disrespect to Batley.

I annoied we bought badly ,with players with wrong attitudes.Does not help as not got a decent centre, that stays fit.

cullen talks a good game but what he did to the wires, it now looks like he's doing to you ! carnt be the players , wires are winning , with smith , and as you stated john stanckavich had em winning and playing better rugby !

Having players traveling long distances must be causing problems & having a mixed squad of part time & full time players cant help as they wont be having enough sessions together, i'm guessing the long distance travelers will only train once a week.



With nearly all the other teams being part time i'd have said you would be better part time which would have saved allot of money and enabled the full squad to train together 3 nights a week like most others do.



Prob takes a little pressure off too as teams want to prove a point against you with you being full time. Your owner must be pulling his hair out with the money he has put in and staff he has installed and put his faith in.



Hope you can get over the bad patch and kick on because its good to see a strong widnes side and one which should be up there in super league with the fan base & home grown players its produced.
