Very good news. Green still has work to do but all three are important squad members.

Very pleased with the Re-signings especially with Bowden as he is having a great season so far .

Brilliant news and Bowden was the last of the three to agree with other clubs circling and a chance of going Down Under it was the fact his two mates were staying to keep the group together that swung the deal, great prospects all! Good too to read in a reply to a letter in todays Mail that it is true that Ellis is getting less now than when he originally signed.



However on a different note I don't think we should expect lots of incoming players next season because we are eating up next years cap fast, probably just one half back in I would guess.

To be honest i think a 6 is all we need.

A centre would be nice but if we class Tiumavave and Fonua as our first choice centres we have back up with Logan and Yeaman and it seems Turgut may be coming through as a centre now rather than second row.

What a difference Danny Brough would make to this team.Sadly it wont happen

If that HB is gaskill then I'm not sure where that leaves us. We're a quality centre and a quality HB away from challenging IMO. Depends if yeaman can keep up his form for another year and a half or whether logan can come back stronger. I've not seen anything of gaskill since he went to bradford but I'd be surprised if he was the player to take us to the next level

Radio Humberside played a brief clip from an interview with Adam Pearson this morning in which he said they wouldn't be much movement in the squad for next season.

I think that I'd like some specialist cover at hooker although Litten is good he aint ready yet!

Great news,and when you add taylor,houghton,shaul danny, yeamo and Lancaster ALL HULL LADS! not forgetting the u\23s and academy kids coming through the future looks good!!

So would I but a quality half could be the difference between being genuine challengers and not so maybe I'd forego the hooking cover and pray houghton stays fit. Houghton being injured would probably stop us from being genuine challengers, lack of a decent half back partner for sneyd definitely will

I think the Gaskill rumour is a complete red herring. A top quality no. 6 is what this squad needs and that's why Motu is going to Aus imo.

While on the subject of homegrown players, Abdull has gone out on loan to Featherstone for a month.

Good move, will get him some much needed game time.

I doubt Motu would be going to Australia if Gaskill was earmarked as a replacement for Pryce.

Pity about Jacob Miller during his time here as he is really looking the part at the moment at Wakefield.

Bowden defo had interest from Oz.

Means you've a player worth having when oz clubs are looking

Not surprised tbh. Watching games back he's made some monstrous carries, has a real aggression about him. With him, Watts, Taylor, Green and Ellis, plus a couple of good academy prospects being brought through, props look well set.
