You'll not find many Salford fans unhappy at Sneyd going. Maybe if we didn't have players ahead of him in the pecking order, possibly. The whole Sneyd thing at Salford smacks of a player (Or more likely his agent) throwing his name about even though he had 18 months left on a contract. Sneyd was reportedly happy to be coming back after a meeting with MK. Then he puts a transfer request in. Go figure.



A player trying to hold the Club to ransom has left a bad taste for me, and I suspect most Salford fans too. So there wont be many tears shed when he goes. Cas fans will be more unhappy I suspect. Certain sections of them even believed that Sneyd would be willing to sit on the bench for Salford for a season then join Cas on a free. Even telling MK that he should let him out of his contract because Castleford is the land of milk and honey. You couldn't make it up.

I'm not in the loop with regards Sneyd but the rumour seems to have gathered too much momentum now for it not to be true. When you've got fans of various other clubs all saying it's a done deal then you have to think there's some substance to it.



Both players are exactly the type of signing we need to be making imo. Young, talented and British. The kind of guys we can build a team around.

The squad will be lean but very decent with no carried members, it's the only way to compete with the top teams, spend the cap on quality not quantity.

Sneyd is good at cas but they're incredibly well coached, hope we can get out of him what Powell has, should rumours be true.

Where has this rumour about Crooks leaving come from? He's signed up for two years after this one isn't he? I would be disappointed if he did go. Not been as good this year for various reasons, but still has the potential to be a quality player imo.
