I think I remember that the naming deal (ie "The KC Stadium"icon_wink.gif was only for 10 years wasn't it ?



I guess after that point the SMC can go out and get someone to pay for a new name, like happens at Huddersfield's ground every few years.



This leads me to ask the questions :



1) Am I right in thinking the naming deal will be up for renewal soon ?



2) what would we call it if it was renamed the "All Praise To Assem Allam Stadium" ?





I know it's naff when grounds like Odsal get a sponsorship name, but underneath at least we still call it Odsal, whereas our ground doesn't actually have a name of it's own.

I wish it was called something different but there are worse names than The KC.



Poor old Post Office Road has a terrible name in Bigfellas Stadium. Better than it's previous name The Chris Moyles Stadium though. Better to be named after a bad night club than some bloke who writes toilet books. Lionheart Stadium wasn't great either.

Is the official name not 'The Circle' as it was in the old cricket days?

I think we can safely say that the words "Hull" and "City" won't be involved in the name alongside each other.
