Is it just me or are refs goin overboard on high tackles this year, they seem to penalise any tackle that goes anywhere near the head at the start middle or end of a tackle. Point in case being mickey higham on burrow last week, he practically had his hands by his sides and burrow was falling but it was still on report. I dont wanna see nasty high shots with intent but it seems to be ridiculous lately, youre inevitably gonna get contact with the head. Its part of the game imo

I've said this for weeks now, we're becoming Onion-esk. Poor calls, especially from the likes of Gran-son; he picks up the technical sides of the game but allows foul play to go unpunished.

The game tonight was a joke - Hohia (sp) and Perry must be thinking they have come to play a cissy game. The refs are taking contact out of the game.

i think if you roll all the super league refs into 1 they still wouldnt make a good one..the overall standard of the few refs we have is a joke..we always get lumbered with fatlad ganson who hates us anyway. cant remember the last time we had thierry hallibut or thaler for that matter
