Well, one thing's for sure. For all the hand-wringing that goes on now about Galea being "a huge miss" for Rovers when out with injury, he'll suddenly become an over-rated, over-priced crock who was stifling the development opportunities of Matt Cook.

I dont think that Matt Cook is the player that Justin Morgan has earmarked to replace Galea..

Let's use our spare cash to bring in replacements for Radford, Dowes and two 3/4's.

Just cant see it unless it is to replace Fitz which seems pointless, he is good player but overseas. too old and injured too much.



As Sheldon has said we haveplenty of cover in the backrow, even if Tickle leaves we have Turner, Whiting and washy who could play in the backrow.



Also we have Kent, Cunningham and Crookes coming through.



Wouldnt be a bad signing as he is a very good player when fit but would be a strange and pointless signing as we need to recruit in other positions.



The only good thing would be his ability to play stand off.

How much potential does crookes have?

Lots IMO, picked for England under 18's squad along with Lyne and Briscoe, starting the year playing for the under 18's, not playing for the reserves, played the last 2 games scoring a couple of trys and kicking a few goals. havent seen him play for a year or so (Hollywood fraiser will be able to give a more recent view0, but when I have see him he looks very good, hopfully as good as his Dad.

Think people are underestimating danny tickle think he is a big player for us and be daft to let him go as for ben crooks nowhere near ready still very skinny and why rush players
