What an absolute farce the game of RL is becoming. The bans are getting beyond a joke especially Ligi who did little different to players that kick their legs up to try and get a quick ptb yet Austin throws himself on the floor to try and win a penalty. Moore saw nothing wrong and key play go on yet Sao gets a retrospective ban. Can’t honestly remember seeing anything untoward from Evans or Johnstone for that matter certainly not to warrant 2 games. Possibly opportunity for Severs, Stavely and Burrell.



So the RFL with their magic spectacle is now looking like it’s going to be an embarrassing closing game due to injuries and unwarranted suspensions.



No wonder this once great game is on its and dying before our eyes.

After such a show I’d be tempted to be ruthless and send a message out and drop Houghton, Taylor, Griffin and maybe eve. Shaul and give the youth an opportunity. We don’t have much to lose and in all honesty a full reserve side would have put up more if fight against Leeds.

I actually think if Hodgson did drop those 4 and put the young lads in and we did get beat most fans would accept the defeat because I know they would give 100%

Yeh I totally agree and it would at least show that he is prepared to try things and drop players no matter who they are or how many there are needing dropping.

Let’s face it the young lads certainly can’t do any worse than some of those senior players did on Saturday. I actually think we have a better chance as they will have desire which was non existent in the ones I’d drop.

Hopefully although for example yesterday we has someone on here call Hookem "championship level at best".

He didn't and you would know that if you attended the game.

He’s probably avoided backlash as you say compared to others but I wouldn’t say he’s avoiding criticism as he is hit and miss and still has to prove himself but he hasn’t been as woeful as the old stagers who have form for poor performances.



He looks shaky confidence wise currently but there is no leader on the field or seemingly in the playing group.



While Handley scored 5 tries they weren’t all past or down to McIntosh

Sao is a big blow, not bothered about the other two. Evans is ok, but not worst a quota spot IMO.
