“It’s a difficult one. It’s not like a hamstring where you know it's going to be four weeks. This is very much seeing what he can tolerate in terms of physical work and what we can actually push.
“He got to the point where he was back in training with us and we were pushing him along thinking he might be back in consideration for playing.
“But then he had an adverse effect on how hard we pushed him and really struggled with some fatigue after it. He was very, very tired and it’s a bit of suck it and see now.”'"
And it was certainly reported that he was back in training when picked for the 21 man squads later in the season. |

Having watched Jones play at 13 for Bennett ,when he joined Hull I thought he would end up there. I said then that he reminded me so much of Greg Eastwood, the Kiwi international lock, both physically and in playing ability. Good luck to him in his future career.
I recently received a montage of family photos from one of my nieces in Hull including one featuring Joe Cator. Turns out she is related via her dad's sister. |
