Sad to hear of the death of that rampaging back rower for Saints and GB Dick Huddart,an outstanding player of the 50's and 60's. Loved watching him play and he played in the GB pack in 3 successive Ashes wins (2 in Aus) and with Johnny Whiteley and Tommy Harris in 2 of them. The 3 of them played in the 1959 series in England which was the last time GB won a home Ashes series and I was at all the games.
Dick went to Aus. in 1966 and became the first GB player to win a GF.

With cas winning last night things tightening up for top 6. Hopefully get tonight done and dusted without injuries or discipline troubles. Starting next week against Rovers we have to start going on a bit of a winning run. Am sure this has all been discussed amongst the players and staff. Gonna be close

AP has said on the clubs Instagram that we hope to have 7 or 8 back next week and hopefully be back to around full strength. |
