DJ got us to Wembley in the SF. If he doesn't want to play for us then fair enough. I guess we could all have saved a lot of money without his major assists both in attack and defence at Hudds in the semi. Time to find someone who does want to play. I'm pretty tired of so called pros calling time on their original commitments. Preferred the old days when you were happy to sign for a club and gave your all while there. Old fashioned I know.

Richard Moore is a no go for me too. Paea feka green watts and Bowden will do for me unless someone well worth it comes along not just anyone who's available. All big lads whom I expect will come in bigger after off season. We appear to be looking at only 2props and a genuine loose instead of third prop. Another one would be useful but not essential, but don't just need an average make the numbers prop.

But that's the problem, unless I'm missing something you don't sign the players and tell them how to play, and players don't change there game because someone on a forum would prefer them to take on the line more.



Don't get me wrong like I said he's a limited player, but he was at Salford , but for years we didn't have anyone he could get us round the park, we really lacked any kind of organisation, having actually watched him play before we signed him I was underwhelmed with his signing, but I honestly think the plan was to sign 2 playmakers, with Holdsworth more of a solid option to do a job in there, with someone with a bit more of an "X factor" along side him, Prince being an example of this and eventually Miller in the end. To be fair him, I think he brought this, we were usually well organised when he played, and it wasn't pretty but it was this that we built our cup run on, if in the end we ultimately lacked the quality to win it.



You mention Witt, who I would class as a very similar player to Holdsworth, if we do sign him I'd say he'd do a good job in the way Holdsworth did possibly even better, his kicking game would be his must important asset to the side, but we'd need a bit more from Miller/Horne/Hera in taking the line on because again he's a limited player. Would you expect him to score long range try's then say he goes missing if he dosnt? Sometimes I think Hull fans have chips on there shoulders, especially when it comes to Aussie players and make decisions on how they want then to play before even seeing them.

Agreed. Witt, Horne, Miller, Azza. Not a bad group on average, but no game-breaker in there either. Hopefully we can have some consistent attacking structures this year so at least there's a plan. Sounded like we made it up as we went along on 2013.
