No matter who came in last year there needs to be a clearout of players and due to contractual commitments we couldn't do that at the end of last season.
This season is a different matter though, he has cap space to negotiate early termination of some contracts and has already made 4 good signings in Lauaki, long, fitzgibbon and tansey. Add to that retention of washy, briscoe and Burnett and there already is half "his" team next year.
To summarize, I am willing to wait and see what happens for the rest of this year and the off season to truly judge his all round management.
And while some of your points I agree with, your refusal to accept that there are some mitigating circumstances and laying "all" the blame at Agars feet IMO is naive.'"

Can you tell me the difference between CH and Chris Thorman???

That is the only time i have ever seen a (supposed) playmaker come off the field because he is dog sh*t in all the games i've ever seen and imo found it embarrassing and didn't think there is any way back for him. Clique clique for me. |

But your point is still redundant, you're putting the cart before the horse. He won't be affected by whether our pack is on top, because the very reason he will be there is to help get our pack on top. Him doing his job is independent of the rest of the pack doing theirs. Whether it's enough and the backs feed off any platform he provides is another question entirely. |

I've said plenty of times that agar is operating in difficult circumstances, but that's when great leaders show their mettle. agar has shown nothing to me, and many others, to suggest that he has the ability to coach a group of people to achieve their maximum potential.
Do you honestly believe that he is getting the best out of the players he has available to him? |
