Not too bad a signing and will be a useful squad player. We can’t sign world class for every signing we make. We need squad players that are decent and Sutcliffe is just that and for me I’d say he is more than a step up than the departing Johnstone which is how I view it.
We’ve seen in our squad with injuries and throughout SL that very few teams have injury free seasons so need decent cover.

Hoy apart who probably will make it due to his speed then unless we have a couple of quality forwards coming in then his recruitment for next season looks as poor as his recruitment was last season. |

As good as Mau has been this season he’s been nothing like I expected when we signed him.
Had visions of him making break after break leaving defenders in his wake.
Can’t fault his efforts, unlike some, but hoped to see more from him. |

Good age,and his defence is good..Knows where the try line is and better than Simm who has too many defensive mistakes in him. |

As much as I think it’s time we moved Houghton on or used him sparingly by spelling him I hope to god we don’t sign Dwyer.
He has the odd moments where his headless chicken style gets things going but for me he’d be a poor signing. We already have Lovodua who was signed and brought to the club to play 9 plus Balmforth who sounds like he’ll feature more next season once he’s worked on certain aspects. |
