Funny that nothings been said what so ever. Even speaking to Leigh fans they don't have a clue, they're just hoping.
We will probably see later this week. I've seen a couple of post from FC fans claiming it's done deal!

Like Asiata, if he did come, it would only be for the money and as we've seen before that can end up being a bad deal for the club unless they can really sell the vision to him once he's arrived. I still don't think it will happen. Regardless of the money, it's a big risk for him if he has any NRL ambitions as there's no guarantee the club will turn things around to any great extent.

Unfortunately money is the only way we can attract those type of players at moment.
If he signs a long term deal in the kind of money rumoured, he will stay as no NRL club would match that type of cash for a player who clubs probably see as a back up.
Not sure why but NRL clubs don't seem to fancy Lam, maybe it is his salary.

Hope I’m wrong, but just a feeling if we had signed Lam we would have known by now, probably be announced he’s staying with Leigh pre kick off v us.
If so would imagine we had a plan b put in place.

Like to see Clifford back but as you say it's very unlikely. A better player than Lam in my opinion but you'll lose a quota place.
Someone may become available but we don't want to get into the perennial half back search and leave it to late. |
