| Can’t see us using two quota spots on wingers next year.
M’au is a good player who I like, but I imagine he’ll be on a good wage, so that may come into it.
Looks like they’re working through the priorities and getting them done first.

Keeping Griffin is a great resigning, he may be probe to the odd brain explosion but the work he does for us clearing our line is incredible.

| Quote ComeOnYouUll="ComeOnYouUll"Yes, I'd not be offering Faraimo a new deal. Started really well in 2018 in terms of try scoring but struggled last year, not scoring until a late flurry in October. Also has a poor discilipnary record, four suspensions in his Hull career (from two reds and two yellows), I think.
Unsure on Ma'u. I'd probably see how he goes when he returns from injury.'"
Has been mentioned before that Mau has been a little disappointing. Also has had quite a few ankle/calf injuries.
Still a very strong player and what goes unnoticed is the amount of running he does in a match.
Apparently he is always near the top at around 8 km

| Controversial opinion, but I'd try keep Fariamo and release fonua early...I imagine Fonua is on a large salary and takes up a quota spot, he's not been the same player second time round, his salary and quota spot could be used to improve the forward pack.

I’m still hoping Mahe comes good, he started off pants against the pies, but then looked more like his old self, and reminded me of how good he is/can be.
I’m not sure releasing him early would be practical as we would have to pay him off, then reinvest again,

| I'd probably agree, but as said above, we'd have to pay Fonua off.
Is Bowden OOC, if so I wouldn't be keeping him either?

I imagine Radford would happily take fonua off our hands if we wanted given that he's signed him twice for FC before

Maybe a good shout, Cas would probably have to review their own overseas players, and the merry go round would begin, it’s rumoured Warry are interested in Matautia, who has looked excellent.
Feki
JSL
Blair
Matautia
Matagi
Millington
Hepi ? not sure of his quota status

| In regards of Fonua & Mau both are good players but as has been said both I think it’s fair to say have performed below expectations and they would probably agree.
I do think with both cases the way we have been set up to play has hampered them and niggles they’ve suffered over last year.
I think Fonua is wasted to an extent on the wing as he much more of a dangerous player in the centres but he’s behind both Los & Griff.
Think the way BH seems to want us to play I’d be surprised if we don’t see a different player in Mau this season.
As for Faraimo I’d be tempted to keep him for another year as I don’t think he”lol be high up the pay scale and I do think he has looked a much better player already under BH.
Certainly going to be interesting to see how BH not only moulds the squad but who he retains and what positions he strengthens.

| Quote ComeOnYouUll="ComeOnYouUll"No news on the length but Hull Live reporting that Josh Griffin has signed a contract extension.

This is great news, Josh is one of the best centres in Super League.
Also sounds like Connor and Cator will be announced soon. Hopefully hear confirmation early next week after the social media break.'"
Brilliant news. Him and Carlos both in SL's top 5 metre makers, so great business to get both tied down. Hard to believe it's Griffin's 5th season with us already, seems settled and see from social media that his son is with Cott Tigers (albeit he 's only about 4!).
