Amazes me how half a decent season has people apparently clamouring for him, imagine if someone had bought Yeaman after his one season wonder, how disappointed would they be now!

I think so too - at the moment.

Watched him closely on Friday night. Didn't do anything spectacular. Smart kick through for their first try though.

Yeaman had about three good seasons.

I must have missed the other two.

Eastmond is better than Myler IMO.



I also think that Matty Smith is a better 7 than Myler.



Myler also looks more like a stand off to me.



If we could for a sensible price I would sign Myler and play him at 6 with Horne at FB.

Myler has a better all round game that either Matty Smith or Eastmond, neither of whom have a kicking game. Also worth noting is the lack of quality around him at Salford

Matty smith main stranght in his kicking game, ask the Saints fans, Eastmond also has a decent kicking game.



Myler short kicking game is good, but long kicking game is poor, his passing game is nothing special but is a great runner of the ball and great support player.



I was watching him closly on Friday and he wasnt orgaising the team like a SH should do. I think he is Richard Horne or Danny Mcguire type player.



You may have a point about playing for salford though, saying that it is sometimes easy to shine in a poor team.

He never had a bad season when Cooke played alongside him!

He is a very good player and would be a very good signing for us, but the money thats been banded around in the media is just silly. If he goes to Wire or Wigan he will achieve nothing and will probably end up leaving after a short while

Don't Wigan have the "next big thing" in one of the tompkins brothers? the way members of my family go on about him you'd think he was up there with Johns/Lockyer and possibly better than both.
