Agree with all the points above about support play and hope this gets addressed.

I'd also add that the HB needs good ball so a fast accurate pass from the PTB off the back a quickish PTB. Too often our HB just passes the ball on because the defensive line is already almost on them by the time they get the ball.

Fully agree. Our halfback problems have not all been down to the halfbacks themselves, we really need to help them to be able to do their jobs.

So it is still a coaching issue, then. The players aren't doing what they should be, but the coaches aren't demanding/getting it out of them, either.

Support play does need to be a hell of a lot better but from watching last night i think Sneyd brings something slightly different and providing the centre/winger and 2nd row on his side are running alongside him he will create gaps for them and put them away. Plus his kicking game is far superior to anything we have seen for a number of years.
