Another tough game this weekend against Wire

Will we stick with Wilde or, is Sammut going to play as replacement 9 ?

Strange, thought Ryan was out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, or did I dream that one up?

They look strong in every department and having been "done" by Widnes last time out, we could be on e wrong end of a beating.

Thought Riley wasn't allowed to play against Warrington? He wasn't in the earlier game this season at least?

Would think Warrington will exploit Riley to the full, hence them being happy to have him line up opposite them.

Tough one as the squad is overloaded with pivots. Ryan should sit the game out and one of Gilmour or Sammut should be the other absentee. I'm intrigued to see how Sammut and Smith would perform in the halves but that means sticking Sykes at 13 which after seeing how easily Whitehead trampled all over him I'm not sure it would be a good idea.

It'd have been good to see a little squad rotation with Walshaw and Annakin in the 19.



Walshaw did well at centre and could provide good cover at second row with his size, strong running and sound defensive ability. Annakin has a point to prove with what was supposed to be a promising season blighted by injury and suspension.

I think it is time for Gilmour to step aside he is not our player and let's face it his age is against him now so I doubt we will be looking to retain his services.

Perfect time to start experimenting a little….Would also like to see how Sammut goes alongside Smith for a few games. Definitely need to start thinking about next season….who would have thought we have the luxury of being safe with a fair few games left !!!!
