| We have to be planning for next season, especially seeing as it looks like we'll avoid relegation, so who are we signing?
Hull FC have announced Sneyd and Pryce. Warrington have announced Ashton Simms to name three...
Are we looking to make some decent signings or are we going to settle for unknowns from abroad and/or other teams cast offs?

Of course, throw in some players from the NL's and you have our recruitment policy of the last 10 years.
We need to sign a replacement for TT, maybe a 6 and possibly a FB depending on Mathers getting resigned.

| As ever much will depend on season ticket renewals. If they remain as pathetic as they are this year it will be rejects, kids and veterans. If the Wakefield public actually back the club then who knows.

| I'll prod the stick in the hornets nest and say we could pick a couple up from Bradford.

| It's all down to bums on seats.
With the apathetic Wakefield public turning up in such small numbers every week, we will be lucky to be signing Championship players.
Balancing the books looks as though it will be almost as difficult as last season.
We need to sign a lottery millionaire, or entice the missing 1500/2000 "fans" that have gone Awol, then MC and his team may have a fighting chance of assembling a competitive squad.
Without cash through the till, we will have to wheel and deal (as always), so inevitably, we will sign some players that are unknown, or that want to prove themselves.
The starting point will be who are we going to retain from this season.
It's sure going to be interesting.

| If the team continues to show improvement and desire like the last 3 games, there is room for optimism.
Hopefully next season the gripes about the shop not being open and confusion with drinks being taken into the ground will be resolved with better communication to the wider fan base.
Maybe to get bums on seats the club needs to make a marquee signing to generate interest in renewals.
After all if we were in the running for Pryce, things can't be that bad.

| We've been linked with Melbournes Ben Roberts and Leon Pryce who are both stand offs.

Sign Riley, Owen, Lynne, Sykes, Tim Smith, Richie Moore, Walshaw .....
Could do with a good strong running and creative 6/13 like Joseph Paulo who is out of contract with Paramatta. Running off Tim Smith's cut out passes would give us a different attacking option.

| I reckon we'll see quite a lot of departures and not too many signings, however I think the signings we make will be of a higher quality than usual.
