Away fans are now encouraged to go in the Western Terrace, although the East stand/paddock is a better bet so stand there instead!



Northern Terrace is now home fans only.

You can all park on my drive, all people carriers will fit

Parking Sugar Lane as your page said is a good start but all the streets around have parking available too.



The one thing to note is that parking in the shopping car parks in town may seem like a good idea as they are free but they have time limits and you'll be charged if you go over so keep an eye on the signs.

The streets around the ground don't look that great to park, especially at teh Agbrigg Road side but they are fine. I've never seen any trouble with cars there.

What about food and drink - especially real ale pubs, please?

I've had my windows smashed on Sugar Lane.

Fernandes Brewery Tap is a good real ale house, within walking distance of BV. There is also The Hop in the city centre, but it's a fair slog away from the ground.

Brand new pub just opened near the hepworth,They sell real ale .

On the food side its 2 for 1 so if all 10 of you go you only pay for 5

Yeah that Ruddy duck does nice food, but the ale is Marstons which isn't my bag. I'd go Fernandes for drinks, then RD for food (and more drinks.)

I would just like to me one thing perfectly clear to ALL away fans visiting Belle Vue this year. The practice of home fans only going in the North Stand is not a spiteful victimisation aimed at any one team in particular. It is simply to provide the one thing us home supporters haven't had at Belle Vue, a main base for the home fans:



Leeds have the South Stand at Headingley

Saints had the Popular Side at Knowsley Road

Warrington had the Fletcher End at Wilderspool

Hull FC had the Threepenny Stand at the Boulevard

Hull KR have their kop directly opposite the tunnel



The point is, Wakefield Trinity fans are just taking back what's rightfully theirs and are only imposing similar sanctions we have to put up with on our travels, i.e. where the fans can and can't go in the ground.

Is the beer van still on the go in the west stand? Cannot remember seeing it last season.

Yes it is. It may not have been present at last year's game at Belle Vue because of the building work for the little stand that was being done.

IMO the food is appalling. Over microwaved frozen muck.

Its all buy 1 get 1 free, but most main meals are about a tenner.



Great place for a drink in summertime I would think, but thats all.

Never understood a new pub like that with an opening offer of buy 1 get 1 free, it put me off going when it first opened and i don't think i'll bother now.

Don't know about the other guy, I've been in a few times and it's been bang on. Don't get me wrong, its nothing that will have Gordon Ramsey quaking in his boots but it's 2-1,and I don't think a fiver for a decent main meal is bad at all.

Same here been a couple of times .Steak ,ribbs,chips,peas, £5 few pints of the black stuff happy days
