So if a player was already committed to super league before 2008 does this mean that Obst and Jeffries don't count on the quota? Or does this rule only apply to EU/Kolpack players such as Hendo?

The exemptions only apply to non-quota players.

That means that we definatly need to let one of our current quota players go and let 2 go if we want to keep Charlie.

My money on the 2 not to be with us next season are Charlie and Obst but i hope it isn't because i would rather we kept Obst and got rid of Jeffries.

In the Wakefield Express it states that players will be leaving in the pre season! So i'd say it's a toss up between either Obst or Jeffries. I'd assume Charlie won't be offered a deal and that therefore means if we're to get a SH it's going to be english!

according to league express shaun berrigan has been removed from the overseas quota after three years .so i would expect bj and sam not to be on the quota also
