We have one of the last wooden main stands in sport. A few years ago it was nearly burnt down, but one of the directors were working late, heard the disturbance and managed to get it sorted out and we still have our wooden main stand, a main piece of Keighley rugby history.

Now you are probably wondering why i would bring this up, Well I think people should know that for the last week, I have walked past the ground after 10pm, and every night this week the little door in the big green gate next to the cricket club has been open, why? because it must be too hard to lock the gate when it is time to go home.

Also the big green emergency gate between the petrol station, and the car dealership has been left wide open, so wide you could get a bus through it, So I was wondering, Where is the great and wonderful select group who are meant to be looking after the security of the Ground?????

I have mentioned it to a member of staff there, and I can only guess I was ignored, as the gates are still open.



I just hope someone reads this and gets the gates closed

The security of the ground is down to the club and it's got CCTV also. Select group only provide extra match day security when we need them. May I add that they are provided free of charge since there owner is one of our directors.

I would like to apologize for my earlier outburst. I was a bit upset at the thought of something happening to our club.
