I remember this fixture from last year, a below average performance and just, only just, keeping our place.



We can't afford that type of complacent performance again. Barrow, like all clubs, will sense this and punish us.

At times we find it hard to raise our game against those below us in the table.

Another must win. As you say Dreamer a committed and error free performance required. This league table is very tight.

Totally agree, with our key positions (1,6,7,9,13) filled by Craven, Handforth, Jones, Buster and Lindsay the structure of the team is at its strongest.



Without this we end up struggling as we did against Fax, Town & Leigh.



We humiliated Barrow, they may have lost 19 games this season but it really doesn't reflect on how well they can play, if they are up for the game then it will be really difficult for Cougars if we appear lacklustre as we did last week.

We really do need to be 'up-for-it' or else we will certainly suffer!



Good luck to our lads but we must play our strongest team or suffer the consequenses (as we almost did last year).

Yes something like this always seems to give the doomed club a boost, expect Marchy will be saying get the basics right etc and coming on as a timely sub to help grind out a result. Not so long ago that Batley were at the top of the tree in the championship (as indeed were Batley). Rugby league fans have to be very resilient (don't we know it!).

A lot depends on the result of Thursday's RFL meeting (and their decision) about Batley's flouting of the Dual Registration Rules when their DR player actually scored in their game against Sheffield. Points deduction or what? Check the recent Celtic game and the decision.



As long as we can gain 5 points from our last three games then we should be OK, with three points to spare (subject, of course, to other anticipated results).



It's still tight, and a win against Dewsbury would certainly help. This would give us 48 points, or 47 if we lose heavily against Featherstone in our final game, when 'points difference' will come into play.

If Batley lose 3 points midweek then a win Sunday should see us safe IMO.

Just got back from Craven Park , a vociferous bus on our return , Ingelton didn't know quite what had hit it ...£3.70 a pint though ..ouch ..



Workmanlike performance today..'Monsoon like conditions - In -Furness' should possibly be another name for Barrow this aft



We did what we had to do, got the three points and credit to the lads ..



Words thought have to be said though about the standard of the Officials .... haven't a clue who exactly they were ..but ..seriously...what a performance ..the game flowed ..no over the top reffing or inconsistent officiating ...fair on both sides and talking throughout ..can we have you every week

So nice to here the officials getting praised for once!

I aggree about the Officials , best we have had for a long while.



The game was ok too , nothing specal and a few mistakes but tuat doesn't
